AMERICAN TOWNSHIP — One man is dead after an apparent shooting on Glenwood Avenue on New Year’s Eve.
Deputies from the Allen County Sheriff’s Office found the victim in the garage of a Glenwood Avenue home, where they were called in reference to a fight and complaints of gunshots fired around 11:15 p.m. Sunday, according to a release from the sheriff’s office.
The victim, whose name has not been released, appears to have died from a single gunshot wound, although the investigation is ongoing, the release said.
Djuan D. McLaurin Sr., 46, is being held at the Allen County Jail on a single count of murder, according to the release.
