Roundup: Foster’s 29 leads Lima Senior to OT victory

Lima Senior 63, Reynoldsburg 62, OT

LIMA — Freshman Shawn Foster scored 29 points as Lima Senior knocked off Reynoldsburg in overtime.

Jagger Hutchins scored 15 points for the Spartans (4-3), while Isiah Wilson had 11.

Reynoldsburg fell to 5-3, led by Jordan Fisher’s 22 and Xavier McKinney’s 15.

Bluffton 57, Arlington 55

BLUFFTON — Bluffton won the Bluffton McDonald’s Holiday Tournament, edging Arlington by two.

Blake Sommers scored 19 points for the Pirates (6-1), including 12 in the third quarter, to earn the tournament’s most valuable player honor.

Joining him on the all-tournament team were Wade Ginther (12 points) and Marek Donaldson (10).

Brady Kin (18 points) and Brady Griggs (15) of Arlington (5-4) also made the all-tournament team.

Continental 41, Cory-Rawson 38

BLUFFTON — Continental won the consolation game at the Bluffton McDonald’s Holiday Tournament, jumping out to a 10-point lead in the first quarter and holding on.

Continental’s Monty Rayle, who made the all-tournament team, scored 13 points for the Pirates (2-8).

Preston Stumpp of Cory-Rawson (1-6), who also made the all-tournament team, had a game-high 15 points. Carson Reese added 10.

Ottoville 53, Van Wert 42

VAN WERT — Ottoville got out to a 15-point lead in the first quarter and held on for a win on the road.

The Big Green (8-2) looked to Adam Brinkman for a team-high 16 points. Landon Horstman contributed 12, and Michael Turnwald scored 10.

Keaten Welch paced the Cougars (2-7) with 14 points, while Rylan Miller scored 13 and Conner Campbell tallied 10.

WAPAKONETA — Wapakoneta fell to 5-4 with the loss. Marion Local is now 3-3.

DELPHOS — Lyv Lindeman set the all-time scoring record for Delphos Jefferson, adding 26 points to her tally, as Delphos Jefferson won at home. She’s topped 1,400 career points.

Maddey Burris added 18 points on six 3-pointers, while Carolyn Mueller scored 11 for the Wildcats (8-1).

Leipsic 43, Swanton 36

SWANTON — Leipsic won Swanton’s holiday tournament, overcoming a 12-point first-quarter deficit thanks to a 26-8 edge in the second half.

Ava Henry paced the Vikings (6-4) with 20 points.

Emma Crow scored 16 points for Swanton (5-3).

Fort Loramie 55, Ottawa-Glandorf 52

OTTAWA — Fort Loramie gut 57.1% of its shots, and Ottawa-Glandorf hit just 45.1% of its own as the Redskins handed the Titans their first loss of the season.

Skyler Albers scored 19 points for Fort Loramie (10-1). Summer Hoying added 15, and Victoria Mescher scored 12.

Ottawa-Glandorf (10-1) looked to Carsyn Erford for 20 points and Katie Kaufman for 18 points and seven rebounds.
