LIMA — The Ohio Department of Transportation alerted the city of Lima that it has chosen to add a roundabout to the state Route 81 and Thayer Road intersection.
ODOT District 1 said that the alternative will make travel in the city and Allen County safer and that it was presented in two public meetings in September.
Crash data found that there were 26 crashes at the intersection between 2020 and 2022.
The department and consultant WSP USA also took into account feedback from stakeholder meetings and public meetings.
