March 6

Amy J. Searfoss, Leipsic, was granted a divorce from Robert S. Searfoss, New Bavaria. They were married Sept. 26, 1998 and have one minor child.

March 8

Anthony Smith Jr., 35, NCCI, Marion, pleaded guilty to forgery. He faces up to 12 months in prison and $2,500 in fines. Bond was continued while a presentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 9:30 a.m. April 10.

Derek N. Dukes, Bluffton, and Joy Stemen, Lima, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married May 2, 2019 in Hawaii and have no children.

March 10

Andrew S. Beck, Elida, was granted a divorce from Monica M. Beck, Columbus Grove. They were married Aug. 7, 1999 in Allen County and have two children.

New Cases

George A. Boecker, Cloverdale, and Theresa Boecker, Cloverdale, v. Tyler S. Burgei, Oakwood, and Timothy A. Miller, Cloverdale, Progressive Casualty Insurance, Co., Mayfield Village; personal injury.

Putnam County Municipal Court dispositions

March 6

Corian D. Johnson, 37, Dayton, pleaded no contest to drug abuse/possession and was found guilty. Sentence: $150 fine.

March 7

Eric F. Steele, 33, Rising Sun, pleaded guilty to no operator’s license. Sentence: 180 days jail, suspended, $150 fine. The court finds based on his work history, education, and ability, he has the means to pay the costs of the legal services rendered to him and he was ordered to reimburse the county for money expended on his legal representation up to $250.

March 9

Anastacio E. Reyes, 28, McComb, pleaded guilty to failure to stop after an accident. Sentence: 180 days jail, suspended, $250 fine, and must pay restitution of $756.07 to the victim. A charge of no operator’s license was dismissed.
