Abel Alafa, 49, Leipsic, was given credit for four days off his sentence for work performed at the Putnam County Adult Detention facility. He is scheduled to be released Dec. 14.

Dec. 14

David M. Smith, Fort Jennings, and Tricia M. Smith, Fort Jennings, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married Nov. 27, 2017 and have two children.

Dec. 15

Alex Fischbach, Pandora, and Samantha R. Kleopfer, Findlay, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married Aug. 22, 2020 in Ottawa and have no children.

Bianca R. Macias, Ottawa, was granted a divorce from Paniagua Guillermo, III, Leipsic. They were married March 26, 2019 in Ottawa and have one minor child.

Dec. 16

Jared A. Smith, 34, Pandora, pleaded guilty to possession fentanyl related compound. He faces up to 12 months in prison and $2,500 in fines. Bond was continued while a pre-sentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 9:30 a.m. Feb. 9.

The following officials were sworn-in for another term: Putnam County Prosecutor Gary L. Lammers; Putnam County Recorder Sherrilyn J. Britsch; Putnam County Commissioner John C. Schlumbohm; Putnam County Auditor Robert L. Benroth and Putnam County Common Pleas Judge Keith H. Schierloh.

Putnam County Municipal Court dispositions

Dec. 13

Joseph Niese, 31, Leipsic, pleaded guilty to OVI. Sentence: 180 days jail, 174 days suspended, $750 fine, $375 suspended, one year license suspension, with credit for six days jail upon completion of DIP and complete a drug and alcohol assessment. Another charge of OVI and reasonable control were dismissed.

Jared J. Llewellyn, 29, Glandorf, pleaded guilty to an amended offense of second-offense reckless operation. Sentence: Four points, 30 days jail, suspended, $250 fine, and attendance at DIP. A charge of marked lanes was dismissed.

Nicholas R. Hill, 41, Leipsic, pleaded guilty to OVI second offense. Sentence: 180 days jail, 90 days suspended, $1,000 fine, $475 suspended, three-year license suspension, and complete an assessment at Pathways Counseling Center. A charge of speeding was dismissed.

Trevor J. Walker, 26, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to an amended offense of second-offense reckless operation. Sentence: 30 days jail, 27 days suspended, $250 fine, with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP. A charge of speeding was dismissed.
