Oct. 17

Anthony N. Hutchison, 40, Columbus Grove, was sentenced to 10 months in the Putnam County Jail for violating community control standards. The violations included possessing illegal drugs, failing to report to an office visit with his supervising officer, failing to comply with weekly passpoint testing, failing to attain counseling, failing to make payments toward court obligations, failing to inform his probation officer of a contact with law enforcement and changing residences without permission. He was given credit for 267 days served as of Oct. 17. He was originally convicted of non-support of dependents.

Oct. 19 Rebecca N. Yarnell, Cloverdale, and Jeffrey A. Yarnell, Ottawa, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married Oct. 10, 2009 in Kalida and have two children.

Brooke N. Kramer, Ottawa, was granted a divorce from Timothy E. Kramer, Vaughnsville. They were married May 18, 2015 in Putnam County and have one child.

Oct. 20 Abel E. Alafa, 49, Leipsic, was sentenced to 16 months in the Putnam County Jail for violating community control standards. The violations included using methamphetamines and marijuana, failing to comply with passpoint testing, changing changed residences without permission, failing to report to his supervising officer, using alcohol, failing to attend counseling, and failing to make payments toward his court ordered obligations. He was given credit for 429 days previously served and placed on five years community control. He was originally convicted of menacing by stalking.

Putnam County Municipal Court dispositions

Oct. 13

Jeremy J. Knoll, 47, Leipsic, charged with aggravated burglary, a felony, bound over to common pleas court.

David J. Engard, 37, Gibsonburg, pleaded guilty to theft of gasoline. Sentence: 180 days jail, 175 days suspended, $150 fine, and complete a mental health assessment, report to Putnam County Jail Nov. 1.

Chelsea Rue, 34, Ottoville, pleaded no contest to village income tax and was fined $50.

Nicholas A. Rue, 33, Ottoville, pleaded no contest to village income tax and was fined $50.

Olivia S. Helms, 40, Ottoville, pleaded no contest to village income tax and was fined $50.

Noah E. Helms, 40, Ottoville, pleaded no contest to village income tax and was fined $50.

Oct. 14

Douglas A. Shively, 64, Leipsic, pleaded guilty to OVI second offense. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, $525 fine, seven-year license suspension. He also pleaded guilty to driving under OVI suspension. Sentence: 180 days jail, 60 days suspended, $250 fine, license suspended one year, complete a drug and alcohol assessment.

Oct. 17

Jose A. Velasquez, Jr., 39, Lima, pleaded guilty to unauthorized use of property. Sentence: 30 days jail, suspended, $250 fine.

Aaron L. Hazelton, 34, Pandora, pleaded no contest to an amended charge of criminal mischief. Sentence: 60 days jail, 59 days suspended, $250 fine, complete a mental health assessment and no contact with victim. Charges of domestic violence and assault were dismissed.

Jeffrey T. Stocklin, 41, Lima, pleaded guilty to violating a protection order. Sentence: 180 days jail, 31 days suspended, fined $150, and complete a mental health assessment. Another count was dismissed.

Jeremy S. Aldrich, 51, Hamler, pleaded guilty to OVI. Sentence: 180 days jail, 177 days suspended. $750 fine, $375 suspended, one year license suspension with three days jail upon completion of DIP. A charge of failure to control was dismissed.
