Sept. 15

Kelvin J. Bish, 23, Continental, was sentenced to 60 days jail for violating community control standards. The violations included having contact last June with a minor under the age of 18 without permission of his supervising officer. He was given credit for 39 days served and was placed on five years community control. He was originally convicted of unlawful sexual conducted with a minor.

Dominic A. McCrate, 28, Ottawa, was sentenced to 90 days jail for domestic violence. He was given credit for one day previously served and placed on five years community control. He must successfully complete all counseling and treatment and not have any contact with the victim unless established by the visitation schedule with the minor children.

Erin L. Douglas, 31, Kenton, was referred to the WORTH Center for violating community control standards. The violations included provided a false identity to law enforcement and failing to notify her supervising officer of changing residences. She must obtain and maintain employment and must successfully complete all counseling and treatment recommended. She was originally convicted of complicity.

Sept. 16

Ryan L. Hefner, Sr., 46, Columbus Grove, was granted an additional 12 days off his sentence for work performed at the Putnam County Adult Detention Facility. He was convicted of possession of drugs.

Putnam County Municipal Court dispositions

Sept. 8

Michael V. Aller, 63, Columbus Grove, pleaded no contest to an amended charge of OVI second offense and was found guilty. Sentence: 180 days jail, 160 days suspended, $1,000 fine, $475 suspended, two-year license suspension, complete a drug and alcohol assessment, with credit for six days jail upon completion of DIP. A charge of assured clear distance was dismissed.

Ricardo P. Sanchez, 27, Leipsic, pleaded guilty to OVI. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, 174 days suspended, $750 fine, $375 suspended, one year license suspension, with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP. Charges of driving without a valid license and failure to control were dismissed.

Jacinto S. Ruiz, 25, Leipsic, pleaded guilty to driving without a valid license. Sentence: 180 days jail, 170 days suspended, $250 fine.

Alexander Hernandez, 25, Delphos, pleaded guilty to OVI. Sentence: Six points, 180 days jail, 177 days suspended, $750 fine, $375 suspended, one year license suspension, with credit for three days jail upon completion of DIP. A charge of driving without a valid license was dismissed.

Sept. 9

Jaswinder Singh, 31, Bakersfield, Calif., pleaded no contest to vehicular manslaughter and was found guilty. Sentence: 90 days jail, suspended, $750 fine, driver’s license suspended for two years, must perform 200 hours of community service within six months. Charges of vehicular homicide and right of way were dismissed.

Sept. 12

Maria L. Ornelas, 49, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to driving under suspension, child support. Sentence: $150 fine

Sept. 7

The Village of Ottawa, agreed judgment v. Charles R. Rieman, Continental, Anita Rieman, Continental, $636.89, in unpaid municipal income tax, penalty and interest due in tax year 2017 plus interest and costs.

Sept. 12

Credit Acceptance Corp., Southfield, Mich., default judgment v. Misty Mathews, St. Marys, and Ross Mathews, St. Marys, $7,655.97, plus interest and costs.

Midland Credit Management, Inc., San Diego, default judgment v. Diana L. Kottenbrock, Ottawa, $1,239.46, plus interest and costs.
