Putnam County Common Pleas Court

Aug. 12

Raymond J. Glaze, 53, Columbus Grove, pleaded guilty to passing bad checks, a misdemeanor. He faces up to 180 days in jail and $1,000 in fines. Bond was continued while a presentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 9:30 a.m. Sept. 19.

Aug. 15

Dustin C. Morman, 45, Leipsic, pleaded guilty to two counts aggravated possession of drugs. He faces up to 36 months in prison and $10,000 in fines. Bond was continued while a presentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 1 p.m. Sept. 19. Another count was dismissed.

Putnam County Treasurer Tracy Warnecke, Ottawa, was granted a foreclosure judgment against Clifford A. Clark, Findlay, deceased, in the amount of $2,359.51 for real estate taxes and assessments as of May 25, 2022.

The Village of Ottawa was granted judgment against Melvin J. Utrup, Ottawa, and Shannon K. Utrup, Ottawa, in the amount of $47,522, plus interest and costs.

Aug. 16

Cory J. Chamberlin, 30, Findlay, was sentenced to 24 months in prison for violating community control standards. The violation’s included having unsupervised contact with a minor. He was given credit for 554 days served. Chamberlin was previously convicted of unlawful sexual conduct of a minor.

Dominic A. McCrate, 28, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to domestic violence (1 prior conviction). He faces up to 12 months in prison and $2,500 in fines. Bond was continued while a presentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 9:30 a.m. Sept. 15.

Aug. 17

Brennen Moening-McConnell, Fort Jennings, was granted a divorce from Keaton McConnell, Lima. They were married Oct. 31, 2018 in Spencerville and have one child.

Michael J. Hoffman, Ottawa, and Christine S. Hoffman, address unavailable, were granted a dissolution of marriage. They were married June 18, 1988 in Miller City and have no minor children.

Aug. 18

Putnam County Treasurer Tracy Warnecke, Ottawa, was granted a foreclosure judgment against Mary J. Egri, Lima, and Panther Recoveries, LLC, Tiffin, in the amount of $6,646.78 in real estate taxes and assessments as of May 4, 2022.

Aug. 11

Richard M. Freed, 22, Columbus Grove, pleaded guilty to criminal trespassing. Sentence: 30 days jail, 20 days suspended, $150 fine.

Aug. 15

Bridget J. Lemaster, 28, Lima, pleaded guilty to theft. Sentence: 180 days jail, 175 days suspended, $100 fine, complete an assessment at Pathways Counseling Center and abide by their recommendations and pay restitution in the amount of $391.87 to Walmart.

Aug. 16

Ismael Garza Jr., 26, McComb, pleaded guilty to two counts domestic violence. Sentence: 180 days jail on each count, 170 days suspended on each count, $150 fine. A charge of criminal damaging was dismissed.

Marvin L. Warnimont, 27, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of menacing. Sentence: 30 days jail, 29 days suspended, $150 fine.

Aug. 18

Jacob J. Langhals, 18, Ottawa, pleaded guilty to disseminating mat/juv. Sentence: 90 days jail and court costs.
