This week’s updates on the coronavirus pandemic

• Residents in Allen, Auglaize, Hardin and Van Wert counties continue to be at high risk of exposure to COVID-19, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

There were an estimated 14.9 new hospital admissions per 100,000 people in Allen County in the last seven days. Patients with COVID-19 illness occupied 3.3% of staffed hospital beds, a minor increase from the previous week.

• The Ohio Department of Health reported one additional death attributed to COVID-19 in Hardin County.
