Top country acts slated for Country Concert 2022

FORT LORAMIE — In 2021, over 78,000 fans packed Fort Loramie’s three-day Country Concert. Fans spend roughly $17 million on tickets, hotels and food, creating a boon for the region’s economy and giving fans an in-person chance to meet Country music’s legends and up-and-comers. This year the concert is back and promises to be as good as ever.

On July 7, 8 and 9, headliners on the Main Stage will include Brooks & Dunn (who are returning to Country Concert after 17 years), Carrie Underwood, Morgan Wallen, Old Dominion, Cody Johnson, HARDY, Chris Lane, Scotty McCreery, Gabby Barrett, Chris Lane, John Michael Montgomery, Diamond Rio, Lauren Alaina and Niko Moon.

The Saloon Stage performers will include Thursday’s lineup of Walker Montgomery, Walker Hayes, Ryan Griffin, and North to Nashville. On Friday, taking the stage are Callista Clark, Blanco Brown, Priscilla Block and the USA Karaoke Finals. Saturday winds up the festival with Jake Worthington, Sawyer Brown, Hailey Whitters, Ernest, and John Morgan.

Some of the up-and-coming talent is scheduled to perform during the Wednesday Camper Party and on the smaller stages.

Hasting, who was interviewed earlier this year by The Lima News, will be performing three sets, one Wednesday night and two Friday night. She will be joined by artists like Kasey Tyndall, Cooper Alan and Muscadine Bloodline.

After singing a duet with Keith Urban that she won through a radio station, Tyndall moved to Nashville to pursue her music career. Her music is a combination of hard rock and country.

After starting his career as a songwriter, Cooper started his own record label called Cooped Up Records and is building upon his online listening fan base with live performances.

Muscadine Bloodline is made up of the duo Charlie Muncaster and Gary Stanto who grew up in Alabama. They have opened concerts for numerous artists and recently released the album “Dispatch to 16th Ave.”

The popularity of Country Concert means that it is best to buy tickets early.

“We’ve been going for years,” said Bailey Anspach of Houston, “its actually where I met my soon-to-be husband.” But she is having trouble getting tickets to Saturday’s events this year. “I tried a couple weeks back and they were sold out.”
