O-G’s White honored at statehouse

COLUMBUS — Ottawa-Glandorf’s Colin White was recognized on the Ohio Senate floor Wednesday by state Sen. Rob McColley, R-Napoleon.

White led the Titans to four-straight state basketball tournament appearances and was selected as 2024 Ohio Mr. Basketball by the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association. He was a three-time first-team Division III all-Ohio selection and the first Titan to score more than 2,000 career points. He’ll play college basketball at Ohio State.

“It is an honor to recognize Mr. White for his accomplishments,” McColley said in a press release. “He has shown resilience, dedication, and determination which will aid in his future academic career and in life.”
