Celina’s Steinbrunner throws no-hitter

Celina’s Brady Steinbrunner threw a seven-inning no-hitter in the Bulldogs’ 3-0 baseball win over New Bremen on Saturday. He struck out nine and walked four.

Celina scored one run in the first inning and two more in the second inning.

Elida 4, Kalida 2

Kalida led 2-0 early before Elida came back for a non-league win at Kalida.

Braden Simmons was 2 for 3, scored two runs and drove in one for the Bulldogs. Zach Suever and Isaac Jones also had RBIs. Suever (4 IP, 2 hits, 1BB, 4 K) was the winning pitcher.

Kalida’s Jaxon Hoffman went 2 for 3, including a double, and drove in a run. Jacob Siebeneck doubled.

Bath 10, Allen East 3

Tyson McGee was 2 for 4, including a home run, drove in four runs and scored twice in Bath’s win. Skyler Lhamon, Peryton Liles and Khaden Sullivan all scored two runs for the Wildcats.

Winning pitcher Brayden VanHorn struck out 11, walked two, allowed four hits and three runs. Joel Rasor pitched a scoreless seventh inning.

Allen East’s Caden Hedrick was 2 for 3.

Bryan 4, Van Wert 0

Bryan scored once in each of the first four innings in its 4-0 win over visiting Van Wert on Saturday.

Dylan Dominique pitched a complete game shutout for Bryan (3-0). He struck out 10, walked one and allowed six hits.

Sam Houg had two hits for Van Wert (2-1)

Softball

Coldwater 3, Ansonia 0

Madison Wendel pitched a one-hitter for Coldwater. She struck out 11.

Lincolnview 13, Defiance 3

The Lancers had 16 hits in their victory, led by Taylor Post who went 4 for 5 with two doubles, Addysen Stevens who was 4 for 5 with four RBIs, Grace Brickner who was 3 for 5, and Sydney Fackler, who had two RBIs.

Fackler was also the winning pitcher.
