Coach’s outlook: “Our team is small in numbers, but they are very enthusiastic and hard-working. They will always be willing to put in the work necessary to compete. We have several girls returning who scored a lot of points last season and have set high goals for themselves this season. We always preach to our girls to go out and give an elite effort in everything they do and we know they will do that at all of our meets.”

Coach’s outlook: “Rilynn Jones returns for her junior year after making runs to the state meet in each of her first two high school seasons, placing fifth in the 300 hurdles as a sophomore. We expect her to build on this experience and make a repeat performance. Sprints are another strength of this team. There is a depth at sprinting and the hope is to put together a relay team that can compete at a high level. The are a bunch of underclassmen that will contribute to the team this season.”

Coach’s outlook: “The girls lost major point-getters from last year in Addyson Dowler and Macy Kulwicki. The team is senior-laden in throws and young everywhere else. I expect the senior throwers to set the tone and for the young runners to continue to make major strides. This will be an exciting year to see which ladies step up and take the role of getting points at every meet. Sophomores Anna Gardner and Grace Ross will both be expected to do this in distance. Marissa Gros will do the same in the long jump, Josephine Williamson in the pole vault and Leah Sowers in the high jump.”

Coach’s outlook: “I thought the girls competed well last year and we have had a nice increase in numbers this year. I think it will only improve our team as it develops throughout the season. I look forward to seeing how the team meshes and learns to compete with the other teams in our league. I think we have a lot of promise but we have to earn it. Our goal is to win the league title, but we have to challenge ourselves every day. I think this group of people has the capability to put themselves in a position to be there, but we have to enjoy the grind and the privilege that comes with competing in the WBL.”

DELPHOS JEFFERSON WILDCATS

Coach’s outlook: “The team is geared up for the season and will look to work hard and compete each day in practice to prepare for the postseason. The team is led by all-state hurdler Lyv Lindeman and Kyah Kimmett in the sprinting events. We want to work hard and get better every day.”

Coach’s outlook: “I believe we will be strong in sprints and relays, as well as our mid-distance, and long-distance. All of the girls are coming in with a good attitude. We are blessed to have a good group of senior leaders again and we have a big class of freshmen who are ready to step in and contribute. The sophomores and juniors want to continue what they started last year and keep improving week to week. I am very excited about this year. The girls are very eager to compete and I’m so blessed to have a great cast of coaches.”

Coach’s outlook: “We are a small, young team. We will struggle from a team standpoint with only seven girls, but we’ll be able to do well in the events that we’re able to fill.”

Coach’s outlook: “We will find a lot of points in the middle distance and distance events. We return some key scorers from last year who were freshmen and we’re excited to see how they progress this season. We are also looking forward to seeing how some of our freshmen are able to score points for us at the high school level.”

Coach’s outlook: “This should be another good season for OG Lady Titan Track. We lost some big pieces from last year (Alexa Fortman, Olivia Fenbert, Clara Beach, and Lily Haselman), but we’ve returned a solid core, including all of our sprinters that were on the state qualifying 4×100 and 4×200. Our strength again will be our mid-distance (400 and 800 as well as the 4×400 and 4×800). We should score very well again in our field events (Throws Emma Hoffman, LJ Savannah Recker, and HJ Madison McKee).”

We have been emphasizing consistent improvements and focusing on getting better each day. Our goal is to be competitive at every meet with a focus on qualifying a significant amount of these athletes for the regional competition.”

Coach’s outlook: “We have 26 girls out this year, which makes it fun because we can compete in a variety of events. Our seven seniors are excellent leaders. They have created a positive atmosphere and hold the younger athletes accountable in order to carry on our culture. Our sophomores and freshman make up more than half the roster and they are excited to compete this season. We have a great group of young ladies who work well together and would like to defend their league title.”
