LIMA — Players for Lima Senior and Shawnee will participate in Lima Senior DECA’s JOY Project at Tuesday night’s game.
Both reams will wear JOY T-shirts during warmups. The JOY Project is an extension of project several years ago to raise awareness of Down Syndrome. Now it includes all disabilities.
Lima Senior’s culinary students will make JOY frosted cookies for the game, plus there will be face painting and a photo booth. An estimated 50 people served by the Allen County Board of Developmental Disabilities will be on hand as guests.
