Bath dominated offensively and defensively on its way to a 54-15 high school girls basketball win over Elida on Thursday night.
Izzy McDermott led Bath (9-3, 4-0 Western Buckeye League) with 14 points and Claire Foust scored 13. Bath shot 51 percent (17 of 33 on field goals) and hit nine 3-pointers, led by McDermott with four. Elida shot 19 percent on field goals (6 of 32).
Shawnee 56, Defiance 43
Grace Freiberger scored 31 points and had 9 rebounds and 7 steals for Shawnee (5-6, 3-1 WBL). Morgan Betts scored 10 points.
Pandora-Gilboa 53, Vanlue 39
Savannah Knueven (22 points, 6 rebounds, 5 steals) and Ava Huffman (10 points, 6 assists) led the way for the Rockets (3-7, 3-1 BVC). Lexi Brooks scored 15 points for Vanlue.
Wapakoneta 45, Van Wert 33
Elisabeth Good and Audrey Welsch scored 12 points in Wapakoneta’s win at Van Wert. Kendra Deehring’s 12 points led the Cougars.
Celina 58, Kenton 57
Kenton’s fourth-quarter rally ended one point short and Celina got the win.
Celina got balanced scoring with four players in double figures — Rachel Rammel, Katie Holstad and Kate Braun all had 11 points and Alex Kimmel had 10 points. Sid Payne led Kenton with 19 points and Sadie Larrabee scored 14.
Crestview 65, Bluffton 33
Crestview raised its record to 12-1 overall and 4-0 in the Northwest Conference. Cali Gregory scored 24 points and had 6 steals. Ellie Kline had 15 points and 5 assists and Myia Etzler scored 12 points. Ayla Grandey’s 14 points led Bluffton (5-6, 1-2 NWC).
Waynesfield-Goshen 49, North Baltimore 24
Four Waynesfield-Goshen players scored in double figures and also had 10 or more rebounds. Tatelyn Faraglia led the scoring with 13 points, Tarynn Vorhes got 12 points and Cambrey Miller and Raegan Hutchison scored 10 points.
