The Lima News recently selected Chris Howell as its sports editor, Editor David Trinko announced.
“We’re excited to see Chris put his stamp on our already outstanding coverage of sports in the Lima area,” Trinko said.
Howell replaced Jose Nogueras, who left the newspaper in June.

Howell had been the sports editor at the Van Wert Times Bulletin since July 2019 before joining The Lima News this week. He also previously served as an intern at WKYC Channel 3 in Cleveland.
Howell graduated from the University of Akron.
