High school roundup: Pandora-Gilboa goes to 4-0

Pandora-Gilboa has started its boys basketball season with four straight wins after beating Kalida 45-18 on Tuesday night.

The Rockets (4-0, 1-0 Putnam County League) got 21 points from Aiden Harris, including four 3-pointers, and 11 points from Colin Harris.

Braylon Smith’s 6 points led Kalida (0-4, 0-1 PCL).

Carson Altimus scored 18 points to lead Antwerp (2-0). Landon Horstman (16 points) and Michael Turnwald led Ottoville (3-1).

Grace Freiberger scored 30 points and had 8 rebounds for Shawnee. Kamryn Morris and and Morgan Betts scored 8 points. New Knoxville’s Brynn Egbert scored 12 points and Lauren Wingler had 10 points.

Shawnee is 3-2 this season.

Ava Henry’s 26 points, including five 3-pointers, helped Leipsic improve to 4-2 overall and 2-0 in the PCL. Jazelle Perez added 11 points.

Fort Jennings (1-4, 0-1 PCL) got 13 points from Maggie Pothast and 8 from Autumn Calvelage.

Keira Breese scored 15 points and Ashlyn Price and Emerson Walker had nine points each for Lincolnview (3-2).
