DAYTON — New Bremen defeated Sarahsville Shenandoah 25-12, 25-14, 20-25, 25-19 Friday at Wright State University’s Nutter Center to reach the Division IV state volleyball championship match.
Olivia Heitkamp had 24 kills, Amelia Dammeyer had 12 kills and 11 digs, Melina Schrader had 46 assists and Keira Steininger had 16 digs for New Bremen (24-4), which will play the winner of Friday night’s Tiffin Calvert-Canton Central Catholic match at 5 p.m. Saturday at the same venue.

SIDNEY — Braylon Gabes had 24 carries for 131 yards and a pair of touchdowns and Jon Lutz had a TD run and returned a punt for another score for the Bulldogs (11-2), who will next play Hamilton Badin.

FINDLAY — Jack Ebbing and Miles Pottkotter each had a pair of touchdown runs and Baylen Blockberger completed all eight pass attempts for 160 yards with TD throws to Braylen Harlamert and AJ Harlamert, who finished with four receptions for 119 yards.
The Cavaliers (12-1) will next play Liberty Center, a 45-14 winner against Oak Harbor.
