WOOSTER — The Lima Central Catholic doubles team of Libby Simmons and Claire Janowski defeated Canfield’s Whitney Miller and Sisi Nalluri 6-3, 7-6 in the opening round before falling to Hathaway Brown’s Summer Mu and Kate Mills 6-1, 6-1 in the quarterfinals.

All three area singles players lost their openers.

Bath’s Anne Oliver fell 6-0, 6-0 to Hamilton Badin’s Caroline Boyle, Shawnee’s Ava Patel dropped a 6-0, 6-0 match to Bexley’s Amiya Bowles and teammate Rose Kottapalli was eliminated 6-0, 6-0 by Kenston’s Brooke McNeal.

ST. MARYS — Bradey Triplett had the match’s goal off a Doug Ruppert assist. Cayden Ballweg had a save to preserve the shutout as the Roughriders advanced to play at Elida, a 2-0 winner against Kenton, at 5 p.m. Monday.

SHAWNEE TOWNSHIP — Coda Miller and Caleb Miller each had a goal and Tate Bender had an assist for the Indians, who will play Celina, a 10-0 winner against Van Wert, at 7:15 p.m. Monday at Elida.

DOLA — Carter Curtis had 15 carries for 137 yards and two touchdowns and Nolan Hopson rushed 14 times for 83 yards and a TD for Hardin Northern (6-4, 6-3 Northwest Central Conference).

BLUFFTON — Aubrey Burkholder and Blair Utendorf each had a goal and an assist, Jenna Downey and Mya McDoogle each had a tally, Ella Armstrong had an assist and Kynzie Ewing had three saves for the Pirates, who will play host to the winner of Allen East and Upper Sandusky at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday.

FINDLAY — With the 25-16, 25-13, 25-11 victory, St. Marys advanced to play Liberty-Benton at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday at Bluffton University.

Lily Rammel posted five aces to put her atop the school career list. She also had 21 assists.

Brynn Clark had 14 kills, Syerra Greber had 11 kills and 11 digs, Audra Clark had 10 assists, Ashlie Nuss had 12 digs and Brynn Clark had seven aces also for the Roughriders.

Cailyn Hopkins had eight digs, Brynn Bulter had 12 digs, Macee Heckathorn had four blocks and Sadie Larrabee had five blocks for Kenton.

CONVOY — The Knights won 25-14, 25-19, 25-11.

Cali Gregory had four aces, 17 kills and 28 assists, Myia Etzler had 14 kills, Adelyn Figley had 13 kills, Emily Lichtle had 11 assists, Ellie Kline had 14 digs and Kaci Gregory had eight digs for Crestview, which will play Kalida at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Van Wert.

CONVOY — The Wildcats won 25-20, 25-11, 25-14.

Malia Romes had 15 kills, Riley Nienberg had 11 kills, seven digs, three aces and four block assists, Maria Gerding had 34 assists, seven digs and three aces, Addiyn Huber had three aces and four block assists, Whitney Unverferth had 13 digs and Madison Unverferth had seven digs for Kalida.

Delaney Bowers had 10 kills and eight digs, Teaghan McDougle had 22 assists and 10 digs, Rhaegan Marshall had 11 kills and Aislynn Noffsinger had 10 digs for Continental, which finished season at 14-9.
