UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS — Ohio Northern dropped a decision at No. 14-ranked John Carroll on a wet and windy Saturday afternoon at Don Shula Stadium.
ONU drove 47 yards in six plays to score on a 3-yard TD pass from Brennon Norris to Evan Tekancic with 42 seconds left in the half.
The Polar Bears took the second half kickoff and marched 70 yards in 12 plays to score on a 14-yard pass from Norris to L.J. Payton with 10:15 left in the third.

BLUFFTON — The Beavers fell 25-13, 25-17, 25-15. Jenna Woods had eight kills, Kasey Sager had six kills, Mallory Fluharty had 19 assists and five digs and Emma Organ had eight digs for Bluffton.

CONCORDIA, Mich. — The Racers fell 25-16, 21-25, 25-19, 25-17. Abigail Martin had 15 kills, Logan Thomas had 13 kills, Savanna Reed had 23 assists, Aubree Ricketts ahd 26 digs and Madelyn Hampton had 11 digs for UNOH.

SUNY Geneseo Invitational
GENESEO, N.Y. — The Ohio Northern men’s team finished ninth out of 25 teams at the 42nd Annual SUNY Geneseo Mike Woods Invitational at the National Warplane Museum.
Ryan Massieled the Polar Bears across the finish line with a career-best effort of 24:25 to finish 28th of 376 runners.
The ONU women finished ninth out of 23 teams. AnnaSophia Gower led ONU across the finish line, placing 32nd overall in the 304-woman field in 22:12.
