CELINA — Celina moved to 8-1 on the season and 8-0 in Western Buckeye League encounters with a 17-0 victory Friday night against Defiance (6-3, 5-3 WBL).
Braylon Gabes had 25 carries for 147 yards and two touchdowns and Zach Greber connected on a 37 yard field goal attempt. Celina will try to win the league title outright Friday, Oct. 20, when it travels to Wapakoneta.

Gavin Markwell recovered a fumble for a TD and Korbin Johnston had a pair of TD throws for Kenton.
