More Allen County pickleball tourney champs crowned

LIMA — The Allen County Pickleball Tournament concluded Sunday with mixed doubles champions being crowned.

In the 3.0-3.5 skill competition for those ages 15 to 49, Cloverdale’s Sarah Donaldson and Brian Donaldson earns gold medals with a first-place finish. Silver went to Springfield’s Tiffany Alberts and Dayton’s Tom Greenwood and Lima’s Jenna Reaman and Matt Reaman were bronze medal winners.

In the 3.0-3.5 event for those ages 50 to 59, Findlay’s Kimberly Tawney and Fostoria’s Chris Bush won gold, Findlay’s Terry Armand and Marc Armand earned silver and Celina’s Brigette Cron and Andy Cron claimed bronze.

Saturday results

in the men’s 3.0-3.5 skill event, Findlay’s Cody Ohnmeiss and Richard Schrock were first-place gold medal winners. Kevin Kitchen from Boca Raton, Florida, and Keith Hill from Middle Point won silver and Michael Bishop from Tiffin and Zach Bishop from Fremont won bronze.

In the men’s 4.0 skill competition, Scott Keck from Continental and Mohammad Shalash from Columbus won gold, Lima’s Joe Janowski and Wapakoneta’s Colin Webb won silver and Ohio City’s Rick Sutton and Ada’s Dexter Woods Jr. won bronze.

In the women’s 3.0 and under and 3.5 skill competition, Findlay’s Kimberly Tawney and Kimberly Murtha won gold, Celina’s Brigette Cron and St. Marys’ Cheryl Walter won silver and Tiffin’s Jana Loy and Findlay’s Sondra Risner won bronze.
