North defeats South in GLSCL All-Star Game.

MASON — The North, which included nine members of the Lima Locos, defeated the South 3-1 Tuesday night in the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League All-Star Game.

The Locos’ Peyton Nelson got the start, allowing one hit while striking out two in one inning. Also in single inning outings, Hudson Parker allowed no hits while striking two and Ryan Denison allowed two walks while striking out three for the Locos. None of the trio allowed a run.

Offensively for the Locos, Justin Rumfield led the way with a hit and an RBI.

Lima, which has qualified for the playoffs, next plays at 5:35 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Jet Box before returning for their regular season home finale against Jet Box at 7:05 p.m. Friday Jet Box at Simmons Field.
