ADA — Jordan Dean was named All-Great Lakes Region in three events to lead a list of nine Polar Bears earning USTFCCCA All-Region honors in men’s outdoor track and field for 2023.

The top five individuals in each event and each of the members of a top-three ranked relay team from each region earned All-Region honors.

Dean led the way for ONU as an All-Region honoree in the 400 and 1,600 relays and the 400-meter dash.

Hunter Kesler and Trey Myers each earned All-Region accolades in two events.

Dean ranks second in the Great Lakes Region and sixth nationally in the 400 with a school-record time of 46.85 seconds.

Dean, Kesler, Spencerville graduate Vini Souza and Ollie Jacobs own the third-best time in the region, and eighth nationally, in the 400 relay after running a school-record 40.72.

Dean, Kesler, Myers and Ross Schlatter rank third in the region in the 1,600 relay with a school-record time of 3:12.86. That time ranks 15th nationally when removing duplicate teams from the same school.

Myers also earned All-Region status in the 800 meters, ranking fifth regionally with a time of 1:51.43.

Keegan Digby owns the top mark in the region in the shot put at 17.46 meters, which is an ONU record and ranks third nationally. He is a reigning All-American in the event and earned All-American honors in the indoor shot put earlier this year.

Combined with this year’s indoor season, Dean has earned four All-Region accolades to go with three each for Digby and Myers and two for Masterson in 2023.
