LIMA — Limaland Motorsports Park opened the 2023 campaign Friday with the Season Opening Shootout presented by Smith Boughan Mechanical Services.
A capacity crowd was on hand to see Dylan Westbrook from Scotland, Ontario, pick up the NRA Sprint Invader feature win in the Hill’s Racing No. 47x, with Dillon Nusbaum from Warsaw, Indiana, winning the Midwest Shooting Center DIRTcar UMP Modified A Main in the No. 17N, and Kyle Moore of Mansfield picking up the Lock Sixteen Thunderstock feature win in the Bob Daugherty owned No. 21D.
Limaland Motorsports Park will be back in action next Friday night the third annual Mike Streicher Memorial presented by Post Printing.
In action will be the USAC Midwest Thunder Midgets, Midwest Shooting Center DIRTcar UMP Modifieds, Lock Sixteen Thunderstocks and the first of three visits by the Dirt Track Truck Series in 2023.
Adult general Admission is $12 for ages 16 and older. Ages 11-15 will be admitted for $6 and those 10 younger get in for free. Pit passes for all ages are $30. Pit gates open at 4:30 p.m.. Grandstand gates open at 5:00 p.m. Hot laps at 6:30 p.m. and racing at 7:30 p.m. For details on this and other events at Limaland, visit limaland.com.
