KENTON — Singles players Isaac Wibbler, Cody Birt and Reese Triplett won for St. Marys The doubles teams of Seth Manns and Mitchell Stephens and Camden Hicks and Adam Coffman won for Kenton.

MARIA STEIN — Emerson Bruns had two hits and five RBI, Allison Dirksen had two hits, including a home run, and three RBI and Natalie Evers had three hits and an RBI for Marion Local. Jaelyn Boop had two hits, including a double, Katherine Lee had a hit and an RBI and Andrea Shaw knocked in a pair of runs for Spencerville.

HCAC Championships

OTTAWA — Bluffton is in fifth place with an 18-hole score of 362 at the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference competition at Moose Landing Country Club.

Bluffton’s Kiley Cline and Allie Waggener are among those tied for 14th place after each posting an 88. Teammate Haley Gill is one shot back. Sara Kroeger and Fort Recovery graduate Shelby Stammen opened with a 97 and 98 respectively.

The second round is scheduled for today at the same venue.

OAC Tournament

MASON — Second-seeded Ohio Northern moved into the finals of the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament with a 6-3 victory over third-seeded John Carroll in the semifinals at the Lindner Family Tennis Center.

The Polar Bears improve to 12-7 overall, while the Blue Streaks end their season with a 6-11 record.

Northern will face top-seeded Otterbein in the championship match at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Lindner Center.

WHAC Tournament

LIMA — After winning the regular season title, the University of Northwestern Ohio also claimed the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference tournament Thursday at Westwood Tennis and Fitness Center. The Racers defeated Lawrence Tech 4-0 in the semifinals and Cornerstone 4-0 in the championship the Racers’ eighth straight tournament title.

The Racers earned the automatic bid to the NAIA Men’s Championships scheduled for May 16 through 20 at the Mobile Tennis Center in Mobile, Alabama.

OAC Tournament

MASON — Ohio Northern moved into the championship match of the OAC Tournament with a 5-1 victory against John Carroll at the Lindner Family Tennis Center.

The second-seeded Polar Bears improve to 16-4 overall and the third-seeded Blue Streaks end their season with a 6-12 mark.

Northern will face top-seeded Otterbein in the championship match at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Lindner Center.
