BOWLING GREEN — The Shawnee girls finished seventh with 119 points and Fort Recovery (100) and Ada (99) were ninth and 10th respectively behind team winner Port Clinton (203) at Bowling Green State University.

Ada’s Lily Baumgartner won the 100 butterfly and second in the 100 backstroke.

Shawnee’s Addisyn Newman was second in the 50 freestyle and third in the 100 breaststroke.

Ottawa-Glandorf’s Marissa Beckett was second in the 200 individual medley. The Shawnee 200 medley relay team was second. Team members’ names were not reported by deadline.

New Bremen’s Annie Jiang (200 freestyle), Fort Recovery’s Teigan Fortkamp (100 backstroke) and Marion Local’s Kylie Niekamp (200 individual medley) earned third places.

In the boys event, Wapakoneta (198.5) was fourth, St. Marys (101) was eighth and Bluffton (96) was 10th behind team champ Lexington (267).

Wapakoneta’s Alex Honigford won the 100 freestyle and was second in the 50 freestyle. New Bremen’s Andy Jiang won the 200 individual medley.

Wapakoneta’s Owen Becker and Luke Wierville were third in the 100 backstroke and 100 butterfly respectively. Wapak won the 200 medley relay and was second in the 200 freestyle relay. Relay members’ names and team scores were not reported by deadline.

Division II

Minster sectional

Coldwater (3,893), Minster (3,629) and St. Henry (3,621) qualified for districts.

Coldwater’s Brandon Hammons had the high three-game series (641) with St. Henry’s Haden Woods (613), Minster’s Xavier Kitzmiller (566), Lima Central Catholic’s Brayden Hubbard (562) and Minster’s Wyatt Kemper (547) also finishing in the top five.

Hubbard, New Bremen’s Maverick Nelson (543) and Delphos Jefferson’s Ashton Milligan (540) advanced as individuals.

Napoleon sectional

Ottawa-Glandorf (3,983) finished third behind Liberty Center (4,398) and Napoleon (4,066) to advance to districts.

O-G’s Justin Yeager finished third individually with a three-game series of 661 at River City Bowl-A-Way Lanes. Teammate Rowan Moore was 1oth with a 579 total.

Fostoria sectional

Kenton advanced to districts with a third-place total of 3,643 at Thibodeau’s Seneca Lanes behind Liberty-Benton (3,813) and Wynford (3,728). Kenton’s Devin Hastings had the sectional’s top three-game series of 662. Teammates Adam Hopkins (549) and Zane Rogers (534) were ninth and 11th respectively.

Bath’s Dacoda Tellez advanced to districts with a three-game series of 522 Friday at Thibodeau’s Seneca Lanes. Bath finished sixth (3,179).
