WAPAKONETA — Wapakoneta won the Western Buckeye League team tournament championship with a 3,398 total Friday at Astro Lanes.
St. Marys, which won the regular season championship and tied Wapak for the overall title, was second (3,294) followed by Shawnee (3,182), Van Wert (3,095), Celina (3,037), Ottawa-Glandorf (2,683), Defiance (2,538), Elida (2,427), Bath (1,334) and Kenton (889).
Shawnee’s Olivia Miller had the high three-game series total of 583 with Wapakoneta’s Bailey Van Meter (549) and Rylie Jeanneret (520), Defiance’s Mabel Adams (490), Celina’s Marissa Hole (470), St. Marys’ Allyson Speckman (462) and Kayla Homan (461), Celina’s Amielle Abner (455) and Chablis Krick (446) and Van Wert’s Ryleigh Hanicq (443) also finishing in the top 10.
Miller earned Bowler of the Year honors with Van Meter, Jeanneret, Homan, Hanicq and Adams also making the first team.
