Roundup: Allen East clinches at least share of NWC title

HARROD — Jacob Hershberger had 13 carries for 140 yards and two touchdowns as Allen East clinched at least a share of the Northwest Conference at 6-0 and improved to 8-1 on the season with a 17-victory against Leipsic.

Teammate Braylen Kennedy converted a 24 yard field goal.

Shawnee 35, Kenton 13

SHAWNEE TOWNSHIP — Zach Noonan had 16 carries for 130 yards and a pair of touchdowns, Jordan Banks had 15 carries for 105 yards and a TD and Chase Beery, who had a touchdown throw to Carter Fay, had 26 carries for 95 yards for Shawnee.

Kenton’s Blaine Bushong had a pair of touchdown throws to Tyson Lawrence.

Columbus Grove 55, Spencerville 6

SPENCERVILLE — Trenton Barraza had 10 carries for 128 yards and three touchdowns and AJ Schafer had a pair of TD runs. Landon Best had a TD throw to Shep Halker and Landen Schroeder had TD run also for the Bulldogs.

Emerson Layman made a pair of field goals for Spencerville.

St. Marys 35, Bath 7

BATH TOWNSHIP — Aiden Hinkle had 12 carries for 193 yards and a pair of touchdowns and Colton Mabry had two TDs. Brayden Sullivan had a TD run also for the Roughriders.

Bath’s Zach Welsch threw a TD pass to Ethan Cole and teammate Mikey Hale had 16 carries for 75 yards.

Defiance 22, Ottawa-Glandorf 14

DEFIANCE — O-G’s Landon Morman had a TD run and teammate Walter Ross returned an interception for another score.

Coldwater 35, Versailles

VERSAILLES — Braylen Harlamert had two TD runs and a pair of touchdown throws to Blade Buschur for the visiting Cavaliers. Curis Duerr caught a TD pass from Marcel Blasingame also for Coldwater.

Marion Local 35, St. Henry 0

MARIA STEIN — Darren Meier had a pair of TD runs, Drew Lause and Kyle Otte, who had nine carries for 103 yards, each rushed for a touchdown and Griffin Burns caught a TD pass from Tate Hess.

Pandora-Gilboa 55, Riverdale 7

PANORA — Ethan Luginbill had 22 carries for 166 yards and four touchdowns and Cory Gerten had a pair of touchdown throws to Collin Harris, who had five catches for 114 yards, and another to Noah Burkholder. Noah Burkholder had a touchdown run also for the Rockets.

Ada 34, Crestview 26

ADA — Levi Green had 28 carries for 204 yards and a trio of touchdowns and had a TD pass to Max Puerto, Cason Jones returned an interception for a score and Wyatt Green converted a field goal for the Polar Bears.

Jarrett Harting and Kellin Putman each caught a TD pass from Carton Hunter, who had a touchdown run, and Braxton Leeth had 10 carries for 95 and a TD for the Knights.

Hardin Northern 35, Ridgemont 20

DOLA — Nolan Hopson had 16 carries for 117 yards and a pair of touchdowns and returned a kickoff for another score and Carter Curtis rushed for TD and scored on an interception return for the Polar Bears. Wade Gamble had two touchdown runs and caught a TD pass from Connor Manns for the Golden Gophers.

Anna 35, Fort Recovery 20

FORT RECOVERY — Cale Rammel completed 15 of 36 pass attempts for 268 yards, had a TD throw to Troy Homan, who had six catches for 177 yards, and ran for a TD as did Ethan Hartnagel for the hosts.

Van Wert 48, Elida 16

VAN WERT — Aidan Pratt completed 18 of 23 pass attempts for 280 yards, had two TD throws to Nate Phillips and one each to Garett Gunter, who had four catches for 100 yards, Maddix Crutchfield and Conner Campbell and ran for a pair of TDs.

Ryan McGue had a touchdown throw to Tyler Dillon and ran for a TD and Grant Hardeman converted a field goal for Elida.

Delphos St. John’s 21, Parkway 7

ROCKFORD — Clay Paddubny had 17 carries for 113 yards and a trio of touchdowns. Parkway’s Fletcher Smith had a TD throw to Logan Green.

New Bremen 28, Minster 0

NEW BREMEN — David Homan had 14 carries for 129 yards and a trio of touchdowns and Hunter Schaefer eight carries for 93 yards and a TD.

Upper Scioto Valley 34, Elgin 14

MCGUFFEY — Alex Sanders and Jason Helton, who had 125 yards and 100 yards rushing respectively, each had a pair of TD runs and Tommy Carl scored on an intereception for USV.

Delphos Jefferson 28, Bluffton 7

DELPHOS — Trent Teman had TD passes to Andrew Miller and Braylon Scalf and ran for a TD. Teammate Cole Hoersten and Bluffton’s Garret Bogart each had a touchdown run.

St. Francis 27, Lima Senior 14

TOLEDO — Lima Senior’s Aiden Howard had touchdown passes to Kaden Hampton and Zavion Gardner.
