Roundup: Shawnee turns away Ottawa-Glandorf

SHAWNEE TOWNSHIP — Chase Beery had a pair of touchdown runs as Shawnee defeated Ottawa-Glandorf 21-7 in high school football Friday night.

Beery finished with 89 yards rushing on 22 carries. Teammate Jordan Banks had touchdown pass to Zach Noonan.

Ottawa-Glandorf got its touchdown on a Peyton Kuhlman pass to Carter Duling, who had two catches for 105 yards.

New Bremen 28

COLDWATER — Marcel Blasingame had 147 yards and three touchdowns on 24 carries and teammate Jack Ebbing had a pair of touchdown runs.

New Bremen’s David Homan ran for two touchdowns and had TD passes to Hayden Zeller and Grant Dicke.

FREMONT — Lima Senior’s Jekel Cotton threw a touchdown pass to Zavion Gardner.

SPENCERVILLE — Braxton Leeth had 113 yards and a TD on 15 carries, Isaac Kline had 85 yards and a touchdown on seven carries and Carson Hunter had a TD throw to Kellin Putman for Crestview.

Josh Henline rushed for Spencerville touchdown.

DELPHOS — Andrew Miller had 17 carries for 213 yards and a trio of touchdowns. Teammate Trent Teman ran for two TDs and had a touchdown throw to Tanner Voorhees. Hayden Hiegel had 25 carries for 171 yards and a TD and Quin Schroeder had a touchdown throw to Jayce Brecht for Leipsic.

Van Wert 77, Kenton 20

KENTON — Brylen Parker had 171 yards and five touchdowns on 20 carries. Teammate Aidan Pratt ran for a TD and completed 19 of 24 pass attempts for 214 yards with TD throws to Garett Gunter, who had seven catches for 84 yards, and Maddix Crutchfield. Briston Wise had five carries for 101 yards and two TDs and Damon McCracken had a touchdown also for the Cougars.

Luke Leffler had two TD runs and Blaine Bushong had a touchdown pass to Kade Smith for Kenton.

FINDLAY — Ethan Luginbill had 120 yards and a touchdown on 25, carries, Tanner Liechty had a TD throw to Colin Harris, who had seven receptions for 83 yards and Elam Suter made a pair of field goals for P-G.

Fort Recovery 33, Parkway 7

FORT RECOVERY — Cale Rammel rushed for a pair of touchdowns and completed 12 of 14 pass attempts for 232 yards with TD throws to Riggs Tobe, who had five catches for 115 yards, and Reece Guggenbiller, who had four receptions for 97 yards. Teammate Caden Grisez also had a touchdown run. Parkway’s Eddie Nichols had a touchdown run.

Columbus Grove 38, Ada 12

COLUMBUS GROVE — Landon Best completed eight of 10 pass attempts for 217 yards with TD throws to Shep Halker, who had four receptions for 132 yards, and Trenton Barraza. Barraza and teammates AJ Schafer and Landon Best each ran for a TD. Halker also converted a 28 yard field goal. Levi Green had 22 carries for 118 yards and two TDs for Ada.

DEFIANCE — Landon Ackley and Zander Jones each had touchdown runs Celina.

Upper Scioto Valley 56, Ridgedale 6

MORRAL — Alex Sanders had 13 carries for 151 yards and two touchdowns, Maddox Underwood had a pair of TDs and teammates Jason Helton, Kevin Smith and Ryan Roberts each had a touchdown run.

Hardin Northern 49, Crestline 8

CRESTLINE — Carter Curtis (nine carries for 185 yards), Xander Wilson (seven carries for 141 yards), Cody Spearman (three carries for 111 yards), Nolan Hopson, Cooper Thomas and Jesus Preino Pinto each had a TD run for Hardin Northern. Hopson also had a TD throw to Curtis.

Waynesfield-Goshen 47, Perry 0

PERRY TOWNSHIP — Aiden Biederman had 17 carries for 103 yards and four touchdowns. Drew Breitigam had TD throws to Dalton Jordan and Jayden Elliot and Carson Barns had a touchdown run.

Minster 37, Delphos St. John’s 14

MINSTER — Brogan Stephey had 20 carries for 121 yards and three touchdowns, a TD throw to Brady Wolf and made a 23 yard field goal. Clay Paddubny had 14 carries for 91 yards and a touchdown and Grant Ulm had a touchdown pass to Nathan Ditto for DSJ.
