MT. CORY — Columbus Grove’s Lauren Auchmuty got the a hat trick and Devanie Pingle and Grace Meyers scored. For Cory Rawson, Paige McVetta, Lanie Kempf and Ellie Keuneke recorded scores. Grove keeper Madison Boehm made nine saves and Gwen Langhals had 19 saves for Cory-Rawson.

Shawnee’s Alexis Hammons and Ella Moritz each scored a goal and Riley Smith was credited with an assist. Indian keeperChloe Nance made six saves.

Delphos Jefferson 13, Van Wert 0

DELPHOS — Jefferson’s Kaia Kimmett scored five goals and Lyv Lindeman had four goals and one assist. Krystin Moore scored a goal and Rylynn Marquiss had a goal and an assist. Clair Stokes and Aubree Bayman each scored goals.

Celina 9, Greenville 0

CELINA —Celina’s Rachel Rammell scored three times and Taylor Klingshirn and Raven Harris each had two goals. Savannah Jacobs and Kenlee Holstad also scored.

Ada 4, New Knoxville 3

NEW KNOXVILLE — Ada’s Logan Jolliff scored twice and Carson Gossard and Gabe Blankenship each scored goals. Blannkenship added as assist. Clayton McGlain, Nathan Williams and Carter Conley also recorded assists. Ada keeper Colton Long made four saves.

Pandora-Gilboa finished second with a 348. Van Buren was the top team with a 309. Owen Huffman led the Rockets with a score 0f 82. Other team scores were Aiden Harris (85), Anna Parkins (88), Elam Suter (93), Zach Neuenschwander (96) and Derrick Teders (109).

FINDLAY — Leipsic’s Brevin Bradin and Nick Schroeder shared medalist honors with scores of 40s. Other Viking team scores were Luke Spoors (44), Diego Lomeli (49), Adam Lammers (50) and Blaine Schroeder (51). Bluffton’s Jaden Coonfare led his team with a 41. Other Pirate scores were Aiden Sponster (46), Jacob Bolsivert (47), Evan Speicher (47), Eli Wenger (50) and Logan Combs (52). For Crestview, Kaelb Swander led the team with a 50. Shawnee got singles wins from Alora Patel, Ava Patel and Rose Kottapalli and a doubles win from the team of Jenova DeBrosse and Brailynn Murphy. Celina got a doubles win from the duo of Kaleah Dailey and Katie Gunigrich.

KENTON — Bath got singles wins from Elena Oliver, Anne Oliver and Lexi White and got doubles victories from the pair of Kelsie Carlson and Allyson Harnishfeger and the duo of Ava Giblson and Tea Sibert.

Wapakoneta 4, St. Marys 1

ST. MARYS — Wapakoneta got singles wins from Bailey Barrett, Addie Cooper and Elisabeth Good and a doubles win from the pair of Aie Hamill and Jenna Kohler. St. Marys got a doubles victory from the duo of Molly Schlosser and Audrey Shannon.

DEGRAFF — Bluffton won 25-10, 25-9 and 25-18. Bluffton’s Kendall Stackhouse had 10 kills and Ayla Gradney had 8 kills, two aces, 12 digs and two blocks. Mergan Fruchey had 7 kills and Oliva Hobensack had 10 assists. Grace Yarnell had nine assists and two aces and one block.

Lima Senior 3, Spencerville 0

SPENCERVILLE — Lima Senior won 25-17, 25-11 and 25-23. Lima Senior’s Tillie Nelson had 10 kills and Mallory Gibpson added 18 assists. Makayla Redd recorded three aces and Aniya Fisher had four blocks.

Celina 3, Jay Co. 0

Celina won 25-17, 25-7 and 25-11. Celina’s Amelia Lutz had nine kills and Ava Knapke added eight kills. Evie Holstad had seven kills. Payton Bertke recorded 31 assists, four aces and six digs. Brooklyn Bourne had five aces and 14 digs and Sarah Giesege had three aces and eight digs.

Volleyball

ONU picked 2nd

ADA — The defending Ohio Athletic Conference regular-season and tournament champion Ohio Northern volleyball team was picked to finish second in the conference in the 2022 OAC Coaches Poll, which was released on Monday.

The Polar Bears received 71 points and two first-place votes in the poll.

Otterbein was picked as the favorite to win the league with 79 points and eight first-place votes.

Mount Union was picked to finish third with 65 points, Muskingum was picked fourth with 57 points and Baldwin Wallace was picked fifth with 45 points.

Coaches do not vote on their own teams in the balloting.

ONU finished the 2021 season with a 22-6 record, including an 8-1 mark in the OAC, and advanced to the NCAA Division III Tournament.
