EUGENE, Ore. — Bluffton High School graduate Trevor Bassitt advanced to the semifinal round of the men’s 400 meter hurdles Friday night at the U.S. Outdoor Championships.
He was second in a time of 49.07 seconds with Rai Benjamin (48.41) finishing first. The semifinal round is scheduled for 4:22 p.m. (EDT) Saturday.
