OREGON — Khalil Luster had 36 points and Jareon Mayo scored 18 as Lima Senior defeated Clay 94-59 Friday night in a Three Rivers Athletic Conference boys basketball game.

Allen East grad

reaches 500 wins

WILLIMANTIC, Conn. – Eastern Connecticut State University’s current longest-serving head coach Denise Bierly has reached yet another milestone in her 28-year career as women’s basketball coach. With Monday night’s 56-27 Little East Conference win at Keene State College, Bierly reached her 500th career victory.

The Little East’s active leader in women’s basketball coaching victories, she is also a member of the Defiance College Alumni Varsity D and Allen East High School Halls of Fame and in the spring of 2017, was inducted into the Connecticut Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame. Her induction into Allen East’s Hall of Fame came during charter induction ceremonies. Bierly set program records for points in a career (1,395), season (475) and game (44) before graduating in 1986.
