Girls basketball: Crestview defeats Kalida to stay unbeaten

KALIDA — Crestview improved to 9-0 on the season with a 42-25 girls high school basketball victory Saturday against Kalida.

Cali Gregory had 14 points, nine rebounds and three blocked shots and Laci McCoy had 10 points, eight rebounds, five assists and three steals for the visiting Knights.

Meredith Bockrath and Brooke Erhart had five points each for the Wildcats.

JACKSON CENTER — Ellie Gabel (15), Rebecca Leffel (14) and Avery Henschen (10) each scored in double digits for the Rangers (6-1).

Kenton 51, Perry 44

KENTON — Gabi Wetherill had 11 points and Ali Harpel scored nine for Kenton. Mi’auni Hall had 14 points and Bryce James scored 11 for Perry.

Bluffton 47, Arcadia 11

BLUFFTON — Sami Scoles had 17 points and Kylie Monday scored 10 for Bluffton (6-3).

Wayne Trace 22

OTTOVILLE — Carly Thorbahn had 24 points and Elise Kramer scored nine for the Big Green (3-5).

Miller City 35, Liberty Center 25

LIBERTY CENTER — Abi Lammers had 15 points, 12 rebounds and four steals, Liz Otto scored seven and Carley Hermiller and Grace Pfau each had three assists for Miller City (6-1).

Bowling Green 44, Lima Senior 25

LIMA — Anya James had 11 points, Tiana Spivey scored eight and Amiyah Coleman contributed six points for Lima Senior during a Coach Q’s Kewpee Holiday Classic game.
