Roundup: Shawnee remains unbeaten in boys basketball

SHAWNEE TOWNSHIP — Shawnee improved to 5-0 on the season with a 74-51 victory against Bath in the Western Buckeye League boys high school basketball opener for both teams Friday night.

Brady Wheeler (20), Austin Miller (19), Anthony Best (12) and Toby Freiberger (10) each scored in double digits for the Indians. Jonah Wauben had 16 points and Britton Hall scored 10 for Bath (1-4). Wheeler also had five assists, teammate JaMari Johnson had nine rebounds and Miller and Freiberger each had seven rebounds.

Kenton 60, Elida 52

KENTON — Jarrett Jolliff (24), Tyson Lawrence (11) and Kooper Johnston (10) each scored in double digits for Kenton.

Columbus Grove 74, Ada 24

ADA — Trey Sautter (17), Noah Macke (13), Jacksen Schroeder (12), Bo Birnesser (12) and Tadd Koch (10) each scored in double digits for Grove. Carter Conley had nine points and Jacob Sutherly scored five for Ada.

CONTINENTAL — Gavin Huff had 19 points and Andrew Hoeffel scored eight for the host Pirates.

DELPHOS — Kyler Kinn had 21 points and Trey Boblitt scored eight for the visiting Pirates. Colin Bailey and Trent Teman each had 15 points for the Wildcats.
