HARROD — Lima Central Catholic (343) finished third among the 13 that posted team scores at par 71 Colonial Golfers Club. Ursuline Academy won the fifth-score tiebreaker against Centerville after each shot 339 to win the team championship. LCC’s Bridget Mulcahy shot a 77 to finish second behind medalist Sydney Deal from Perrysburg, who fired a 71. Lexington’s Alaina Kathrein (79) was third and Ursuline Academy’s Olivia Zirpoli won a scorecard playoff against Benjamin Logan’s Sydney Wesson for fourth place after each shot 80.
Emma Mayers (86), Carlie VanMeter (90) and Leiahnni Smith (90) contributed to LCC’s team total. Miller City (521) finished 13th with Chelsea Erford’s 98 leading the way.

In the Hardin Northern-Ada match, Kennedy Hall had 20 assists, 10 digs and four aces, Eris McCoy had seven kills and Blaire Hipsher had eight digs for Hardin Northern. For Ada, Autumn Andreasen had 17 assists, Courtney Sumner had five kills and 12 digs, Lexi White had 10 digs and Emilee Huffer had five kills.

Marion Local’s Noah Budde (17:11.6) finished second behind Jackson Center’s Kellen Reichert (17:01.3). Fort Recovery’s Trevor Heitkamp (fifth, 17:37), Marion Local’s Troy Stucke (sixth, 17:54.9) and Lucas Broering (eighth, 18:06.2) and New Bremen’s Zach Ashman (ninth, 18:18.4) also were among the top 10.

Coldwater’s Haley Alig was the race winner in 19:40.9. New Bremen’s Caroline Whitlatch (third, 21:01.1) and Chloe Homan (sixth, 21:12.7) and St. Henry’s Rileigh Baumer (fifth, 21:12) and Joscie Evers (1oth, 22:20.3) also were in the top 10.

DANVILLE, Ky. — Following a scoreless first half against Emory (Georgia), Ohio Northern surrendered three goals during the final 45 minutes in a 3-1 loss in the opening round of the Centre (Ky.) Tournament at Amend Field.
The loss dropped the Polar Bears to 0-1-1 on the season while improving the Eagles’ record to 2-0.
ONU’s lone goal of the game came via Alaina Casey, who was assisted by Jill Roberts.
