KALIDA — Kalida’s Ryan Klausing was the medalist with a score of 36. Other Wildcat scores were Connor Nartker 41, Ethan Warnecke 43, Kayla Nartker 45 and Justin Siebeneck 48. Elida’s Carson Harmon shot a 37 to lead the Bulldogs. Other team scores were Cameron Collins 39, Caleb Harmon 45, Brice Engle 46, Carter Davisson 47 and Matt Adcock 53. LCC’s Parker Judy fired a 38 to lead the T-Birds. Other team scores were Cam Stewart 59, Zac Campbell 59 and Austin Craig 64.

Kalida goes to 5-0 on the year. Elida is 3-2 and LCC is 0-2.

DELPHOS — Crestview’s Evan Scarlett was the medalist with a 41. Other Knight scores were Will Sharpe 44, Trey Skelton 45, Brady Petrie 52, Dru Gray 59 and Ethan Best 63. Ft. Jennings’ Gavin Schimmoeller had the low team score with a 43. Other team scores were Adam Hoersten 45, Nick Trentman 50, Braden Knippen 56, Joseph Klir 57 and Andrew Aldrich 59.

DELPHOS — Leipsic’s Mason Brandt was the medalist with a score of 36. Other Viking scores Luke Spoors 42, Josh Lewis 50, Adam Lammers 51, Nick Schroeder 51 and Blaine Schroeder 57. For Allen East, Zach Miller and Cameron Hedrick led the Mustang with a 39s. Other team scores were Kenyon Rettig 42, Noah Brown 43, Jalen Johnson 47 and Elijah Lawrence 50. Jefferson’s Isaac Gallmeier posted a 40 to lead the Wildcats. Other team scores were Brady DuVall 44 Caden Carder 47, Kayden Slygh 47, Casey Knippen 50 and M.J. Finkhousen 62. Spencerville’s Michael Woods shot a 50 to lead his team. Other Bearcat scores were Tristan Shaw 59, Cooper Chapman 61, Hunter McPheron 64 and Dylan Mertz 66.

BLUFFTON — Pandora-Gilboa’s Eli Huffman was the medalist with a 38. Other Rocket scores were Grant Farthing 43, Ryan Johnson 45, Sam Norton, Hailey Dysert 49 and Aiden Harris 49. For Miller City, Thomas Weis led the team with a 44. Other team scores were Will Otto 46, Caleb Niese 52, Dillon Peck 52, Andrew Weis 53 and Jesse Lammers 55.

OTTAWA — Ottawa-Glandorf’s Carson Fuka was the medalist with a34. Other Titan scores ere Carter Schimmoeller 42, Eli Schmenk 42 and Josh Walls 44.

WAPAKONETA — Wapakoneta got singles wins from Makenzie Schroeder, Abby Metzger and Mara Stiles and doubles victories from the team of Bailey Barrett and Elisabeth Good and the pair of Addisyn Cooper and Brooke Minning.

Lima Central Catholic 5, Lima Senior 0

Lima Central Catholic got singles wins from Libby Simmons, Claire Jenowski and Noah Nuesmeyer and doubles wins from the pair of Jillian Terrill and Emma Skinner and the T-Bird team of Miya Raezinski and Jade Julesbecc.

Ottawa-Glandorf 6, Bluffton 1

BLUFFTON — Ottawa-Glnadorf’s Myka Aldrich and Makenzie Recker each scored twice and Makenna Siefker and Kaelyn Grothause also scored. Grothaus, Recker and Siefker also recorded assists along with Ella Okuley and Lily Haselman. Bluffton’s Allison Diller scored the goal for the Pirates and Reagan Mittendorf was credited with an assist. Titan keeper Abby Warnecke notched four saves and Pirate goalie Julia Mehaffie had five.

ONU spikers ranked 14th

DA — The Ohio Northern volleyball team is ranked No. 14 nationally in the American Volleyball Coaches Association Preseason Poll on Wednesday.

The Polar Bears received 820 points in the poll.

Ohio Northern ended the 2020-21 season ranked No. 19 in the final AVCA poll.

Trinity (Tex.) is ranked No. 1 with 2052 points and 37 first place votes, Colorado College is second with 1969 points and 16 first place votes and Calvin (Mich.) is third with 1878 points and two first place votes.

The Polar Bears finished the 2020-21 season 13-3 overall and were third in the Ohio Athletic Conference with a 13-3 mark.
