MILLER CITY — Miller City’s Abi Lammers scored 21 points, grabbed 14 rebounds and made three steals. Natalie Koenig had 12 points and Adrienne Kuhlman had five points and six assists. For LCC, Olivia Stolly scored 19 points and Mary Kelly Mulcahy added 13 points.
Miller City evens its record at 10-10 for the year.
Columbus Grove 61, Fort Jennings 16
FORT JENNINGS — Columbus Grove’s Jaylen Sautter scored 17 points and Kenzie King went for 12 points and recorded 10 assists and six rebounds. Erin Downing scored 10 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. for Fort Jennings
Columbus Grove improves to 5-1 in the Putnam County League and 11-6 for the year. Ft. Jennings falls to 1-13 and 1-3 in the PCL.

DELPHOS — Delphos Jefferson improved to 14-4 after defeating Ottoville Saturday. Jefferson’s Alyvia Lindeman scored 18 points and Lauren French added 13 points. Alycia Lindeman chipped in 11 points.

Shawnee remains No. 1
COLUMBUS — Shawnee remained atop the Division II Associated Press Ohio High School boys basketball poll released Monday.
The Indians, 14-0, will face Ottawa-Glandorf, 11-1, who remained at No. 4 in the Division III, Friday Night.
Speaking of ranked teams squaring off, Columbus Grove comes in ranked No. 2 in Division IV faces Lincolnview, who are at No. 16 in Division IV Tuesday.
Also Ottoville, ranked No. 4, in Division IV, will clash with Putnam County League rivals, Kalida dropped from No. 7 to No. 17 in the state.
Lima Senior, who has been sidelined the last two weeks, is ranked No. 14 in Division I.

OTTAWA — Ottawa-Glandorf’s Brandt Utrup had the high series in round one with a 399. Other Titan series were Sean Kelley 358, Justin Yeager 345 and Jake Fawcett 331. Individual game scores were Braydan Maag 136 and Ben Haubhen 189. For Temple Christian, Anthony Mayer had a 346, Abu8ree Linehart had a 274, Joe Engle rolled a 238 and Kamryn Huffker had a 235.
Temple Christian won round two 773-758.
O-G improves to 8-5.

Track and Field
ONU places second
ADA — The Ohio Northern women’s indoor track and field team opened its 2021 season with a second place finish at the Otterbein Early Season Showcase meet on Sunday at the Clements Center.
The Polar Bears (3-1 overall) were second with 136 points. John Carroll won the meet with 241 points, Otterbein was third with 86, Wilmington was fourth with 27 and Capital was fifth with nine.
Sophomore Anna Schatzle (Brookville, Ind./Franklin County) won the pole vault, clearing 3.21 meters. Sophomore Cienna Kuhn (Elida) was third in the event with a height of 2.76 meters.
Junior Taylor Ellerbrock (Columbus Grove) was third in the 1,000 in 3:11.03.
The Polar Bears will return to action on Saturday when they host John Carroll and Baldwin Wallace in the annual Joe Banks Invitational.
