Roundup: Wapakoneta tops Bluffton in boys hoops

WAPAKONETA — The hosts outscored Bluffton 20-11 in the fourth quarter to earn a 55-44 boys high school basketball victory Tuesday night.

Noah Ambos (14) Zach Rogers (13) and Kaden Siefring (10) each scored in double digits for Wapak. Kyler Kinn had 10 points and Carson Soper scored nine for Bluffton.

Minster 57, Delphos St. John’s 36

MINSTER — Justin Nixon had 24 points and 14 rebounds, Johnny Nixon had 19 points and 12 rebounds and Eric Schmidt had five assists for the host Wildcats. Noah Schwinnen had 14 points and Landon Elwer had eight points for DSJ.

St. Marys 53, New Bremen 51

NEW BREMEN — The Roughriders (7-2) outscored the Cardinals (4-4) 12-7 in the fourth quarter to earn the victory. Austin Parks had 21 points and LeTrey Williams scores 18 for St. Marys. Reece Busse had 14 points and Nick Alig and Mitchell Hays each scored eight for New Bremen.

Kalida 46,

Lincolnview 28

KALIDA — The host Wildcats (6-4) built a 15-4 advantage by the end of the first quarter. Grace Klausing (13) and Camille Hovest (12) each scored in double digits for Kalida. Hovest also had five rebounds.

Kendall Bollenbacher had nine points and Annie Renner scored seven for the Lancers. Carsyn Looser and Zadria King each had five rebounds also for Lincolnview.

Spencerville 48,

St. Marys 40

SPENCERVILLE — Emma Leis had 19 points and Lily Goecke scored 11 for Spencerville. Haley Felver had 10 points and Cora Rable scored nine for St. Marys.

Shawnee 71,

Perry 29

Grace Freiberger had 27 points, seven steals and five assists, Hailee Conrad had 15 points and six rebounds, Zoe Smith had 11 points and nine rebounds and Ania Pearson had eight points and nine rebounds for Shawnee. Perry’s individual scoring information was not reported by deadline.

Bath 48, Ottoville 36

Madelyn Renner had 12 points and nine rebounds, Chandler Clark had six assists, Lexi Renner and Ruby Bolon each scored eight for Bath (11-1). Nicole Knippen had 13 points and 10 rebounds for Ottoville (7-4).

Elida 64,

Fort Jennings 25

Amira Freeman (19), Addisyn Freeman (16) and Elli Mitchell (10) each scored in double digits for Elida. Jessie Foust led Fort Jennings with nine points.

Delphos Jefferson 52,

Miller City 37

Alycia Lindeman and Alyvia Lindeman each had 18 points for Jefferson. Natalie Koenig had 12 points and Abi Lammer scored 11 for Miller City.

Leipsic 42,

HAMLER — Liz Scheckelhoff had 15 points and 16 rebounds and Kyrsten Martinez had six points, four assists and four assists for Leipsic.
