Boys Basketball
Crestview 63, Bluffton 50
Crestview’s Kalen Etzler scored 14 points and Carson Kreisher and J.J. Ward both chipped in 12 points. For Bluffton, Trey Boblett scored 13 points. The Knights owned a 38-23 lead at halftime.
Bluffton moves to 2-2 on the season and 1-1 in the Northwest Conference. Crestview improves to 5-2 overall and 1-1 in conference action.
Girls Basketball
Shawnee 81, Lima Senior 49
Shawnee’s Zoe Best pumped in 26 points and Hailee Conrad chipped 22 points. Grace Freiberger added 16 points and Ania Person scored 12 points. For Lima Senior, Nakiya Sigman scored 16 points and became the 11th member of the Lady Spartans to join the 1,000 point club. She also had four steals and three assists. Samya Wright scored 16 points and Tiannai Spivey had eight points, five steals and five rebounds.
Shawnee improves to 4-2 on the year and Lima Senior slips to 2-7.
Delphos St. John’s 46, Van Wert 42
DELPHOS — Delphos St. John’s Paige Gaynier scored 18 points, going 12 of 15 from the charity stripe. Abby Buettner led the way on the boards with 8, and Melanie Koenig with 7 points and 6 assists. Sophie Houg led Van Wert with 21 points and Kyra Welch had 10.
Perry 47, Continental 41
Perry’s Miauni Hall scored 15 points and Lily Floyd added 11 points. For Continental, Madelyn Potts had 13 points and Catelyn Etter added 10 points.
Boys Soccer
Shawnee’s Jenson honored
Shawnee’s Carter Jenson earned all-American accolades from the United Soccer Coaches Association for this past soccer season. Along with his all-American honors, Jensen was a first team selection in the Western Buckeye League, the Northwest District, and first team All-State and was also named the Northwest District Division 2 player of the year.

Elida vs. Perry
Elida’s junior varsity and varsity boys basketball game against Perry Wednesday has been postponed. No make up date has been announced.
Temple Christian
Lima Temple Christian at Fort Jennings boys basketball game will only play two quarters of junior varsity action. The game is slated to begin at 6 p.m.
College
ONU wrestling to compete Sundays
ADA — The Ohio Athletic Conference has announced a shift for its regular season wrestling schedule, moving all contests from Saturdays to Sundays for the 2021 season.
Wrestling will determine its OAC champion with a round-robin schedule of meets held on Jan. 24 at Mount Union and Feb. 7 at Ohio Northern.
All eight schools will also compete at Baldwin Wallace on Jan. 31 in a schedule yet to be determined.
The NCAA Central Regional Championships on Feb. 26-27 at Alma, Mich., and the NCAA III Championships at LaCrosse, Wis., on March 12-13 remain unchanged.
