Roundup: Ottawa-Glandorf girls triumph in soccer

METAMORA — Ottawa-Glandorf advanced to the Division III district finals in girls soccer with a 4-0 victory Tuesday against host Evergreen.

Clara Beach had two goals and Kelsea Erford and Lauren Diller had one tally each. Abby Warnecke made four saves to earn the shutout in goal.

The Titans (12-3-3) will play Archbold, a 5-0 winner against Liberty Center, at 1 p.m. Saturday at Evergreen.

Bluffton 4,

Ashland Crestview 2

BLUFFTON — Clara Matthews had two goals and Laykin Garmatter and Allison Diller had one tally each as the Pirates advanced to play host to Liberty-Benton, a 6-0 winner against Riverdale, in the district finals at 4 p.m. Saturday. Bluffton’s Olivia Matthews and Reagan Mittendorf each had an assist.

Leipsic 3, New Riegel 1

LEIPSIC — The Vikings advanced to the district finals with a 25-18, 25-20, 20-25, 26-24 victory.

Peyton Heitmeyer had 15 kills and 11 digs, Serenity Siefer had 49 assists, Kasey Brough had four blocks and Jocie Hermiller had 17 digs for Leipsic, which will play host to Miller City for the district championship at 6 p.m. Thursday.

Miller City 3, McComb 0

LEIPSIC — The Wildcats (19-4) advanced with a 25-14, 25-23, 25-15 victory. Abi Lammers had 13 kills and 30 digs, Lexi Banks had 15 kills and 16 digs, Abi Teders had four blocks and Adrienne Kuhlman had 31 assists for Miller City.

New Knoxville 3, Minster 0

NEW BREMEN — The Rangers reached the district finals with the 25-15, 25-19, 25-17 win.

Ivy Wolf had eight kills and 13 digs, Ava Sharp had 13 digs, Jayden Clune had 26 assists and Lily Barhorst had eight kills for Minster. New Knoxville will play at New Bremen, a 25-10, 25-13, 25-12 winner against Ada, at 6 p.m. Thursday.

FORT RECOVERY — The Flyers earned a 25-14, 25-15, 25-20 victory. Pohlman had nine kills and eight block assists and Rethman had 23 assists for Marion Local, which will play at Fort Recovery for the district title at 6 p.m. Thursday.

Fort Recovery 3, Lincolnview 1

FORT RECOVERY — The Indians advanced with the 25-22, 25-13, 20-25, 25-16 victory.

Hope Wendel had 28 assists, Paige Fortkamp had 20 kills and Kierra Wendel had 20 digs for Fort Recovery (20-3).
