Leipsic won its ninth Putnam County League volleyball championship in the last 10 years with a 5-25, 25-18, 25-19, 12-25, 15-8 victory Tuesday night against Miller City.
The Vikings, who have won 17 straight, close out PCL play 6-0 and are 18-2 overall.

Jackie Oen (95), Taylor West (100), Alyssa Zwiebel (109) and Addie Newman (118) contributed to the team score. Shawnee’s Haylee Wurm and Madilyn Paphanchith each shot 100. Perrysburg’s Sydney Deal was medalist with a 72. Lexington’s Amanda Ruminski will also be heading to state, winning a playoff against Napoleon’s Riley Kleck, after each shot 75.
