CELINA — Jill Schmitmeyer shot a 1-under 71 in winning the girls 16-18 division of the Lima Junior Golf Association – McDonald’s Junior Series Superior Credit Open held Thursday at Celina Lynx Golf Club. Erin Mulcahy finished second with a 75.
Kyle Naumann won the boys 16-18 championship with a 73. Ethan Harmon defeated Austin Radcliff in a playoff for second after each shot 75.
Carson Harmon won a playoff against Clayton Wilsey for the boys 14-15 title after each had rounds of 75.
In the par-36 nine-hole events, Kayla Watkins was the girls 15 and younger champ with a 45. Emma Mayers’ 53 earned her second place. Damon Watson was first in the boys 12-13 division with a 43. Chase Dunson finished a stroke back to earn second.
