Elida girls varsity basketball coaching position gets filled

ELIDA — Roman Youngpeter, a 1996 Delphos St. John’s graduate has been hired as the new girls varsity basketball coach at Elida.

Youngpeter has experience in with the boys and girls programs at St. John’s. He was also the head boys coach at Waynesfield-Goshen. Most recently Roman was an assistant coach with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants of the NBA G-League.

Youngpeter replaces Chrissy Billiter, who is now the Delphos Jefferson varsity girls basketball coach.
