MILLER CITY — Kylie Berner allowed no hits and a walk while striking out four as the host Wildcats defeated Pandora-Gilboa 13-0 in high school softball Tuesday night. Berner also had two hits and four RBI. Abbey Schroeder had her 100th career hit, Makenna Lehman had three hits and two RBI and Morgan Niese had two hits and an RBI also for Miller City.

SHAWNEE TOWNSHIP — Alissa Stahler had two hits, including a grand slam home run, Kayla Seitz had two hits and Morgan Golden had a double and three RBI for Shawnee. The Indians will play at Wapakoneta at 5 p.m. Friday. Morgan Klatt tripled for Elida.

CELINA — Haley Kirk scored the winning run on an errant throw after Taylor Turner doubled in Maddy Luebke tie the game at three. Alivia Purtee gave Kenton a 3-2 lead with a three-run homer in the top of the seventh.
Luebke had three hits, including a home run and a double, and two RBI. Bailey Laux and Emily Keith each had two hits also for the host Bulldogs. Purtee had two hits as did teammates Alivia Purte and Lacie Nichols. Celina will play at second-seeded Defiance at 5 p.m. Friday.

HARROD — Lakin Basham had two home runs and seven RBI and Aliva Craig and Chloe Lawrence each had a double for Allen East, which plays at top seeded Fairview at 5 p.m. Friday.

BLUFFTON — Winning pitcher Libby Schaadt allowed one earned run, four hits and five walks while striking out eight in seven innings.
Schaadt also had two hits and an RBI. Katie Prater had four hits, including a home run, and three RBI, Averey Rumer had two hits and Mara Minnig had a hit and an RBI also for Bluffton, which will play at 5 p.m. Friday at Paulding. Bailey Swartz had a hit and an RBI and Kara May and Gracie Butorac each doubled for Spencerville.

Maura Hoying and Molly Steinke each had three hits and an RBI, Grace Bruns had two hits and Sierra Timmerman had a hit and two RBI for Coldwater. UNOH (30-12) will open NAIA tournament play at 2:30 p.m. Monday against Georgia Gwinnett (49-3) at the Grizzly Softball Complex in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The first game of the day, set for noon, will have second seed and 20th-ranked Oregon Tech (36-13) against third seed and 22nd-ranked Southeastern (FL) (40-16). The double elimination tournament continues through Wednesday with the winner advancing to the NAIA Softball World Series May 25-31 in Clermont, Florida.
Georgia Gwinnett is the No. 1 ranked team in the country in the final regular-season NAIA Coaches Poll which was released Tuesday.
Northwestern Ohio qualified for the NAIA Tournament by winning all four games at the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Tournament.
