CELINA — Aaron Belcher shot a 3-under 69 to win the boys 16-18 title at Thursday’s Superior Credit Union Open played at Celina Lynx Golf Club as part of the Lima Junior Golf Association – McDonald’s Junior Series.
Joshah Rager finished second with a 70. Jill Schmitmeyer was the girls 16-18 winner with a 72 followed by Erin Mulcahy who shot an 83.
Ethan Rickets defeated Carson Harmon and Britton Hall with a birdie on the first playoff hole for the boys 14-15 championship after each shot 84. Harmon went on to birdie the next playoff hole to secure second.
Ellen Naumann won the girls 15 & younger divison with a nine-hole score of 42 with Marissa Miller (47) finishing second. Isaiah Johns was the boys 12-13 champion with a 44.
