Celina’s Seth Lonsway threw a seven-inning perfect game, finishing with 20 strikeouts, in a 2-0 ACME District 4 sectional victory against Marion Local on Sunday in St. Henry.
Celina will play Coldwater, a 5-1 winner against Fort Recovery in St. Henry on Sunday, in an elimination game at 6:30 tonight in Rockford. Against Fort Recovery, winning pitcher Dylan Brosher went seven innings, allowing four hits and no walks while striking out three. Dylan Thobe had two hits, including a double, and two RBI and Jacob Wenning had two hits and an RBI also for Coldwater. Will Homan had three hits for Fort Recovery.
Parkway will play at St. Henry at 7 tonight for a spot in the championship round.
In District 5, in the East sectional at Bath, Wapakoneta defeated LCC 5-2 and in an elimination game, Elida beat LCC 2-0. On Tuesday, host Bath will take on Wapak at 4 p.m. and Shawnee will play Elida at 6:30 p.m. In the West sectional at Crestview, Van Wert topped Delphos Jefferson 10-9 and in elimination games St. Marys defeated Jeff 4-0 and the hosts topped Lincolnview 13-3. At Crestview on Tuesday, Delphos St. John’s plays Van Wert for a spot in the championship at 4 p.m. and the hosts play St. Marys at 6:30 p.m.
In the District 2 sectional, Kalida made it to the championship round with a 10-2 win against Ottawa-Glandorf at Holgate. In elimination games at Miller City, Columbus Grove topped Holgate 11-1 before falling 11-1 to O-G. O-G will play Kalida at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Holgate.

ROCHESTER, Minn. — Ottawa finished 2-2 in the Firecracker 92 tournament with a 5-4 loss to Mitchell, S.D., on Sunday. Madison, Wisconsin, defeated Austin, Minnesota, 5-1 in the championship game.
