White helps O-G knock off Columbus Grove

OTTAWAOttawa-Glandorf forward Kylie White had 25 points and eight rebounds to lead the Titans to a 61-58 girls basketball victory over Columbus Grove Monday at Hermiller Gymnasium.

Ottawa-Glandorf is 8-1, while Columbus Grove is 9-1.

McKenzie Meyer had nine points and Erin Kaufman scored eight for the Titans.

Paige Bellman had 20 points and 10 rebounds for Columbus Grove.

The Titans won the boards, 21-14.

Wapakoneta Holiday Tournament

Wapakoneta 43, Marion Local 29

Dayton Carroll 72, Riverdale 67

WAPAKONETA — Wapakoneta and Dayton Carroll advanced to the finals in the Wapakoneta Holiday Tournament.

Wapakoneta defeated Marion Local 43-29. Dayton Carroll defeated Riverdale 72-67.

Wapakoneta is 7-1. Marion Local is 6-4.

Russia 43, New Knoxville 34

RUSSIA — Russia’s Laurissa Poling scored 13 points in the Raiders’ win over New Knoxville.

New Knoxville’s Abby Lageman led the Rangers with 16 points. Kenzie Schroer scored nine.

Eaton 54, St. Henry 37

EATON — Ellie Stammen paced St. Henry with 15 points, but it wasn’t enough in a loss at Eaton.

Jacey King had 10 points for St. Henry.

Fort Recovery 59, Van Wert 25

FORT RECOVERY — Fort Recovery’s Whitney Will had 17 points and 10 rebounds to power the Indians over Van Wert.

Cassidey Meyers led the Cougars with six points.

Fort Recovery forced Van Wert into 29 turnovers.

Kalida 45, Delphos St. John’s 41

DELPHOS — Kalida outscored St. John’s 14-6 to pull out a victory over the Blue Jays at Arnzen Gymnasium.

Allison Recker led Kalida with 15 points. Kylie Osterhage had 11 points, while Brittany Kahle scored 10.

Madilynn Schulte paced the Blue Jays with 15 points.

Kalida is 7-3, while St. John’s is 5-4.

Ada 65, Hardin Northern 29

DOLA — Rachel Wildman had 22 points and Morgan Sutton added 14 to help Ada over Hardin Northern.

Ada won the boards, 32-23.

New Bremen 42, Houston 38

NEW BREMEN — New Bremen’s Jane Homan scored 13 points and Debbie Paul had 12 in New Bremen’s victory over Houston.

Bluffton Holiday Tournament

Arlington 69, Allen East 59

Bluffton 61, Cory-Rawson 36

BLUFFTON — Arlington and Bluffton advanced to the finals of the McDonald’s Holiday Tournament at Bluffton.

Arlington knocked off Allen East, 69-59. Bluffton defeated Cory-Rawson, 61-36.

Logan Speyer led Arlington with 24 points, while Matt Glick scored 21. Kain Foster paced Allen East with 18 points.

Shane Gipson scored 13.

Bluffton’s Bret Rumer and Nick Friesen both scored 15 points. Mitchell Ault had six points and 10 rebounds.

Allen East will play Cory-Rawson in the consolation game tonight followed by the championship game with Arlington against Bluffton.

Coldwater Asset Allocation Classic

Celina 41, Coldwater 30

Marion Local 63, St. Henry 57

COLDWATER — Celina and Marion Local advanced to the finals of the Coldwater Assset Allocation Classic.

Celina knocked off Coldwater, 41-30. Marion Local defeated St. Henry, 63-57.

Coldwater will meet St. Henry in the 6 p.m. consolation game tonight. In the championship game at 8 p.m., Celina will play Marion Local.

Lincolnview 62, Ottoville 17

MIDDLE POINT — Lincolnview cruised to a victory over Ottoville in a non-league game.

Austin Leeth and Trevor Neate paced the Lancers with 12 points each.

The Lancers led 11-7 after the first quarter, but built the margin to 32-9 at the half.
