Business is booming, or should we say blooming, for landscaping and construction companies. Area companies say nice weather and people waiting out Ohio’s stay-at-home order has kept businesses focused on the exteriors of properties quite busy.

Speaking of coronavirus, Allen County now has 124 cases and 23 deaths, with no new deaths over the past 24 hours. Auglaize County tallied 35 cases and three deaths, and Putnam County has 69 cases and nine deaths, again with no new deaths in the last day.

A new group home for homeless people with mental health issues has opened on Lima’s Michael Avenue. Linda Scott said there’s a need in the community.”It is Christian based and that way they can be comfortable and they can feel like they’re in a family atmosphere,” she said.
