VAN WERT — The Van Wert Peony Festival will start at 10 a.m. Friday, June 7 and run through the night into Saturday, June 8 at the intersection of Jefferson Street and Central Avenue in Van Wert.
The festival celebrates the first full weekend of June with live bands, a car show, a children’s fishing derby and the grand parade at 5 p.m. June 8 down Main Street.
